'Time (Is A Promise)' is the flagship single from Mavin's LP Love. Written in 2013, it's a personal goodbye and dedication to beloved member of Mavin’s family.

The song was produced by Berlin based, Brazilian born producer Victor Rotciv. Presented to Mavin as an instrumental, originally titled Time, lyrics came to Mavin instantly and spoke of the unconditional love one can have for someone. Mavin explains ‘The melancholy in the instrumental and the synth melodies inspired me to write those heartfelt lyrics. It is a very personal song and fits perfectly in the context of my album.’

Staying true to his underground and electronic music roots, Mavin offered Time Is A Promise to Snuff Crew to remix. They transform the track into a gospel acid type of affair, which will surely kill it on dark techno dance floors everywhere. Rounding out the set is an epic instrumental version of Rotciv’s original track.
